Yummy Paleo Fried Bananas with Cinnamon, Cashews and Coconut Shavings

Paleo Fried Bananas - Easy, fast and amazing!

This is my new go to Paleo friendly desert; Paleo Fried Bananas topped with Cinnamon, Cashews and coconut. This recipe is a variation on the one from Fast Paleo and MesoPaleo, so the real thanks and credit goes to them, this is just my variation. I am a huge fan of Bananas and to be able to make a desert out of it that is both quick and very easy is a dream come true. More so once you have eaten and realized how absolutely awesome it is. Main Ingredients
  1. Bananas
  2. 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  3. 1 tablespoon butter
Toppings
  1. Cinnamon
  2. Honey
  3. Unsweetened shredded coconut
  4. Toasted cashews
Instructions
  1. Cut the Bananas however you like it, either sliced in half or small.
  2. Melt the butter in the pan and when hot, fry the Bananas (approximately 2-3 minutes per side) to your liking. I like my ones caramelized quite a lot, and almost burnt. But do it to your liking.
  3. Once done place the Bananas on a plate and add your toppings. If the Bananas are more starchy than sweet then add some Honey.
  4. My personal favorite is to top with chopped toasted cashews, a sprinkle of Ceylon Cinnamon and coconut flakes.

Is it one tablespoon each of butter and coconut oil? Or is it one tbsp of one or the other? I need to know if I put two tbsp of coconut or not.
