10 Amazing Paleo Kale Recipes

I’ve been on the Kale-as-superfood Bandwagon for sometime now. It tastes amazing, is cheap and is very versatile. There are so many different ways to make it. The biggest benefit is the nutritional profile. It does help to mix it up though, here are my favourite paleo kale recipes.

1. Spicy Kale Chips
I had to start the list with kale chips. They are the most famous way of making kale and had to be the number one choice. I like them spicy and the paprika in this recipe just gives it that extra lift. Coupled with the slight pepperiness of Kale, it makes for some nice chips.

2. Quick and Simple Stir Fried Kale and Bacon
Here is a dish that is easy and fast. It also combines kale with everyones favorite – Bacon. Another great recipe you should try. The other key to this recipe is that it is stir fried and I love anything that is quick to prep and even quicker to cook.

3. Paleo Kale and Basil Salad
An easy salad to put together. In about 15 minutes you have yourself a nice salad with a honey mustard dressing. The combination of basil and kale goes well (better than I expected).

4. Raw Kale Ceasar Salad with Almond Crusted Paleo Chicken
Here is another nice Kale salad. It is a raw kale take on the classic ceasar salad with a nice paleo almond crusted chicken.

5. Chicken, Kale and Vegetable Soup
The first Kale soup on the list and is a decent soup at that. If the idea of comfort food for you is a good soup then this is for you. It never struck me that kale would be good in a soup and it is.

6. Steamed Kale
This side dish is as simple as it sounds. With red peppers, balsamic and garlic, it is a simple but tasty side dish.

7. Balsamic Kale with Cranberries
I would have though that kale and cranberries would have made a rather unlikely combination, but it works. Yet another unusual but amazing recipe (if you can call it that) to try. Sometimes the best surprises are when you use unlikely flavour combinations.

8. Sausage and Kale Soup
Here’s another nice soup with kale. This one is basically sausages, kale and mushrooms. Definitely a good combination that is hearty. Just make sure to get good sausages.

9. Pizza Kale Chips
Heres another recipe for kale chips. This is an odd on though, but it is good. Basically you make a “cream” with cashews which has some spices etc that give you a pizza like taste. Coat your kale in the cream and bake. You now have pizza kale chips.

10. Paleo Chorizo, Sweet Potato and Kale Stew
Last but not least, I’m going to round the top 10 off with a kale stew. Another great idea (and I wish I had thought of this) that is yummy.

There you go, I hope you enjoy the ten recipes I put together. There are some favourites of mine in the group, but they are all worth a go. Enjoy!
