10 Quick and Easy Paleo Muffin Recipes

With muffins you can go both ways. Sweet or Savoury. Most people have muffins for breakfast with coffee. What they don’t realize is that unless you go with something like one of the paleo muffin recipes below, they are effectively having a dessert for breakfast. A muffin is breadlike and to make it paleo friendly, the ingredients now include almond flour and fruits like bananas and blueberries for taste. There are savoury options too but for the most part the base is the same, with the savoury flavours coming from chillie etc. As far as my preferences go, because it looks and sort of feels like a cupcake, I prefer it more as a dessert.

    I am a firm believer of including proteins in my smoothies and whatever else I am making or baking. I am borderline diabetic so it is crucial to keep my carbs and proteins as well as good fats in line. I like to add almonds to my smoothies as well.
